PropFit for developers
Connect a property-management system, a script or an AI assistant to an organization’s PropFit account.
Three ways in
- REST API v1 at
https://developers.propfit.co/api/v1: read properties, units, vacancies, criteria and counts; add properties, units and draft vacancies; create qualification links. API reference. - Webhooks: signed HTTPS POSTs when something happens, such as a vacancy changing status. Webhooks.
- MCP server at
https://developers.propfit.co/api/mcp: the same data as tools for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients. MCP server.
All three use the same organization API token, created by an owner or admin in PropFit. See Authentication.
What you can and can’t reach
A token acts for one organization, chosen when it was created. No call takes an organization id, and records of other organizations answer 404 not_found.
- You get owner and inventory data: properties, units, vacancies (with terms, fees and move-in cost), criteria in plain words, qualification links, applications, tour times, reports, a billing summary and aggregate counts.
- About renters, only for those who engaged with your vacancy, and only under a pseudonymous handle: the criterion results the owner app shows (“income criterion met, verified”). What a renter shared with an application (name, contact, income…) only with its own permission, and the renter sees every read. Never documents or background check reports.
- Never through the API: publishing a vacancy, approving, declining or waitlisting an applicant, ordering a background check or changing criteria. Those stay with a person in the app: an AI or a script must not decide on applicants (fair housing). You can read the decision, and ask an applicant to authorize a background check.
Every call is audited with the token, the member who created it and, for the MCP server, the calling assistant.
Quick start
- In PropFit, open Settings → Integrations → API & integrations and create a token with the scopes you need. Your plan must include API access.
- Call
GET https://developers.propfit.co/api/v1/mewithAuthorization: Bearer pf_api_…to check it. - Download the OpenAPI 3.1 document at https://developers.propfit.co/api/v1/openapi.json (no token needed) to generate a client.
